| Doug Froese
Mr. Froese is the CFO / Controller for the Vedder Group of Companies, a Canadian entity with over 400 employees, 6 operating companies and over 20 auxiliary companies.
Mr. Froese's primary responsibilities include financial statement analysis, cash flow management, business development and management of the company's extensive investment activities. Mr. Froese has held this position for the past 14 years.
In addition to his operational role at the Vedder Group, Mr. Froese manages a diverse investment portfolio that includes:
- Private equity investments in several green tech companies
- Diversified international real estate holdings
- A professional sports team
Prior to joining the Vedder Group, Mr. Froese articled and worked as an account executive at KPMG. Mr. Froese is a 17-year member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia.
Mr. Froese is actively involved in the creation of Matthew's House, a respite home for physically handicapped children in Abbotsford, BC. This facility is being established in partnership with Communitas and with the cooperation of Canuck Place (a charitable arm of the Vancouver Canucks NHL team). |
